Full-House Residential Moving

A house move is rarely one big job. It is a kitchen that takes forever, a garage nobody wants to deal with, and a primary bedroom full of fragile things, all in one day. We plan a residential move room by room so each space gets the right handling instead of everything getting dumped in the truck in one anxious rush.

How we work a home, one room at a time

We start where it matters and tag rooms as we go. The kitchen gets dish-pack cartons and paper so the stemware survives the drive. Bedrooms get wardrobe boxes that keep hanging clothes on the rail. The garage and basement, where Denver folks stash bikes, ski gear, and the snowblower, get loaded last and come off first so you are not digging for the coffee maker on night one. Each carton is labeled by room, so when we unload in Highlands Ranch or Park Hill, boxes land where they belong instead of in a pile by the door. Heavy art, mirrors, and the TV get their own padded handling, and we keep beds and dressers wrapped so nothing gets scratched on the ride over.

Because Denver weather can flip from sun to hail in an hour, we load the morning when we can and keep an eye on the afternoon storm window, wrapping anything that has to wait on the driveway. We price off the size of your place. A 3-bedroom falls in the $1,780–$2,620 flat band, a four-bed house runs $2,540–$3,780, or you can run any of it hourly at $149/hr for a 2-mover crew. A $150 deposit holds the day and comes off the total. Released-value coverage at $0.60/lb is standard, with full-value protection available if you want more. Just Right Moving sends one crew that knows the whole plan, not a rotating cast of faces.

What's Covered

  • A room-by-room loading order mapped out during the walkthrough, not improvised
  • Dish barrels and clean paper cut to size for kitchen glass and china
  • Wardrobe cartons that let your hung clothing ride straight off the closet rod
  • Color-coded room tags so every box gets carried to the right room at drop-off
  • Garage and basement gear stowed last so it comes off the truck first
  • Banisters, jambs, and corners cushioned with pads and guards before the carry

What's the Cost?

From $149/hr or a flat rate from $410

A two-mover crew, the truck, blankets, and dollies are all folded into that price already, with nothing billed back to you as an extra later.

“Straightforward move out of Baker, fair price, good guys. They wrapped the TV before I even asked.”

“I'd rented my own truck and just needed muscle, so I booked the hourly loading labor. Two movers packed my entire RiNo loft into the rental better than I ever could have, no complaints about the stairs.”

“LoDo high-rise move near Union Station. The building only allows the freight elevator until noon, and the crew planned the whole load around that window without me having to nag. Smooth, professional, and the deposit came right off the total like they said.”

Service FAQ

Can a full house be done start to finish in one day?
Most two- and three-bedroom Denver homes wrap up in a single day with the crew sized right. A roomy four-bedroom occasionally splits into a packing day and a moving day, and we'll tell you that at the walkthrough.
Do you load up everything stashed in the garage and crawlspace?
We do. Ski racks, tool chests, patio sets, storage totes, all of it gets wrapped and carried out. Just point out anything that's staying behind and we'll leave it where it sits.
Could I box up part of the house myself and leave the rest to you?
Of course. A lot of folks pack their own closets and hand us the kitchen and the breakables. We adjust the quote to cover only the rooms we're packing.
How do you keep my floors and walls from getting beat up?
We roll out floor protection and pad the doorways and stair rails before anything moves. The whole point of working room by room is that both homes come out the other side without fresh dings.
